According to people who witnessed the accident, the sand truck was traveling at km 15 + 150, Quynh My commune, Quynh Luu district, when it suddenly plunged into a ditch and overturned, causing nearly 10 cubic meters of sand to fall into the field.The accident caused National Highway 48B to be congested for several hours as a crane occupied the road to lift the damaged vehicle. Traffic police from Quynh Luu District Police promptly arrived to regulate and direct traffic.
