Quynh Nghia: Seafood exploitation output reaches over 10,000 tons

(Baonghean) - Since the beginning of the year, fishermen in Quynh Nghia commune (Quynh Luu) have exploited over 10,000 tons of various types of seafood, worth over 250 billion VND, of which some types of seafood have high exploitation rates such as: fresh squid over 2,000 tons, various types of fish over 7,000 tons... Currently, the whole commune has nearly 200 vehicles participating in fishing and exploiting aquatic and seafood products, of which nearly 80 vehicles have a capacity of 300 to 900 CV, ensuring fishing in large fishing grounds, the remaining from 90 to 300 CV, creating regular jobs for more than 2,000 workers at sea, with an average income of 3 to 4 million VND/person/month.

Nhu Thuy
