(Baonghean.vn) -On the morning of January 27, at the provincial historical site Dinh Tam Mai, Quynh Thuan commune coordinated with Thien Nam Son One Member Co., Ltd. to organize the opening ceremony of the Chung cake wrapping contest with the theme of Loving Tet Spring Giap Ngo 2014.

Banh chung is a traditional cake of the Vietnamese people to express the gratitude of descendants to their ancestors and the land. To promote that precious tradition, with all materials sponsored by Thien Nam Son Company Limited, Quynh Thuan commune organized a contest with the aim of preserving, maintaining and developing the beauty of traditional culture. Participating in the contest are 9 teams from 9 villages, with a time of 60 minutes, the teams must ensure all standards such as: wrapping the cake quickly, correctly, ensuring hygiene, enough quantity and quality, beautiful appearance, delicious cake... After the cake is cooked, the teams will organize to give it to poor households with especially difficult circumstances in the commune to celebrate the New Year of the Horse 2014. This is a meaningful activity, creating a joyful spring atmosphere. At the same time, it also strengthens the spirit of solidarity, mutual love, care and sharing among people.
