Out of reform school, committed 5 thefts
(Baonghean.vn)- After 18 months of reform at Reformatory School No. 2, Dang Hong Quan was allowed to return to his hometown. Quan became a vagabond and returned to stealing. In less than 3 months, he committed 5 thefts with a total value of 35 million VND.
On the afternoon of June 3, the Nghi Loc District Police Investigation Agency decided to prosecute the case and prosecute Dang Hong Quan (born in 1999), residing in Hamlet 7, Nghi Trung Commune, Nghi Loc District, for theft of property.

Previously, on the afternoon of May 29, Nghi Loc District Police received a report: Mr. Nguyen Van Kien (born 1958), residing in Hamlet 10, Nghi Trung Commune, had his house broken into by a thief who stole a Nokia phone, a wallet containing 2.5 million VND and many important documents.
After receiving the report, Nghi Loc District Police coordinated with Nghi Trung Commune Police to inspect the scene. Using professional measures, on May 30, the police investigation determined that Dang Hong Quan was the perpetrator of the theft.
During the struggle, Quan confessed to his theft at Mr. Kien's house. During the extended investigation, Quan confessed that in addition to this theft, from the beginning of March to the end of May 2016, he committed 4 other thefts in Nghi Trung commune. The stolen property included 5 Iphone phones, 1 Nokia phone, 2 laptops, some cash and documents. The total value of the 5 thefts was approximately 35 million VND. Quan gave the stolen property to Pham Ngoc Dat (born 2000), residing in hamlet 4, Nghi Trung commune, to sell for spending money.

Currently, the investigation agency is recovering the assets stolen by Quan and continuing to expand the investigation, handling the subjects according to the provisions of the law.
Pham Ngoc Dat, who received property from other people's crimes but was under 16 years old, was handed over to his family and local authorities for management by the authorities.
