Launching new interface of Supreme People's Court Electronic Information Portal

On the afternoon of October 22, the Supreme People's Court (SPC) held a ceremony to launch the new interface of the Supreme People's Court's Electronic Information Portal, 66 electronic information pages of the High People's Courts and Provincial People's Courts; the system for sending and receiving petitions, documents, evidence and issuing, serving, and notifying procedural documents by electronic means; the online registration system for issuing copies and extracts of judgments and documents in the case files of the SPC.

Attending the launching ceremony were comrade Uong Chu Luu - Vice Chairman of the National Assembly, leaders of central agencies; People's Court agencies in provinces and cities.

At Nghe An bridge, there were comrade Ho Dinh Trung - Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Chief Justice of the Provincial People's Court; Lieutenant Colonel Dang Van Phuong - Chief Justice of the Military Court of Military Region 4.

The Supreme People's Court's electronic information portal and 66 electronic information pages of other courts are built with a modern technology platform to ensure meeting functional requirements and long-term development as well as the ability to integrate and link existing and future information technology systems of the People's Court.

Along with the launch of the new interface of the People's Court Electronic Portal, the Electronic Information Pages of the High and Provincial Courts, the Supreme People's Court also launched information technology systems integrated on the Court Electronic Portal. The first is the system for sending and receiving petitions, documents, evidence and issuing and notifying court procedural documents by electronic means; piloted at the High People's Court in Hanoi, the 2-level People's Courts of Hanoi, Hai Phong and Quang Ninh. The second is the online registration system for issuing copies and extracts of judgments and documents in court case files, deployed throughout the court system.

With these new features, people can submit lawsuits, requests, documents, and evidence electronically without having to go directly to court. The court can also quickly notify and serve documents and procedural papers to litigants and participants in the proceedings electronically.

The use of the above information technology systems demonstrates transparency and publicity in court proceedings, contributing to strong innovation in judicial administrative procedures and procedures for resolving court-related cases; preventing harassment that may arise from directly accepting lawsuits and issuing copies of court judgments and transcripts.
