Premiering to Vinh audience the dance play: "A collective of individuals"

(Baonghean.vn) - On the evening of March 18, at the Provincial Labor Culture House, Vinh city audiences enjoyed a dance performance called A Collective of Individuals performed by the contemporary dance troupe Noi Den.

This is a work by choreographer Le Vu Long with music by musician Tri Minh. The 60-minute work recreates Vietnamese society in the 70s of the last century, a historical period with great changes in all aspects. Especially the struggle, inner turmoil to change the thinking and perception of each individual in a group together towards the future. This is a familiar theme of other art forms such as literature, music, cinema... becoming an art movement with images that are easy to imagine. But this is the first time it has been expressed by contemporary dance art.

The Dance Group Noi Den was founded in 2002 with key members being deaf people living and working in Hanoi. “A Collective of Individuals” is a work in the contemporary dance project series “Vietnam in the 70s” of the group, which has performed in Hanoi, Hue and many countries around the world.
