Launching Fire Prevention and Fighting Police Department No. 5

(Baonghean.vn) - On the afternoon of October 3, in Do Luong, Fire Prevention and Fighting Police Department No. 5 held a launching ceremony and a talk to celebrate the 53rd anniversary of the Fire Prevention and Fighting Police Force. Attending the event was Colonel Dao Hong Lap - Deputy Director of the Fire Prevention and Fighting Police Department.

At the ceremony, delegates reviewed the 53-year journey of fighting, building and developing the Vietnam Fire Prevention and Fighting Force. With great contributions in the two resistance wars against foreign invaders and defending the Fatherland, the Fire Prevention and Fighting Force has effectively prevented and extinguished fires, saving thousands of lives and thousands of billions of VND in property for the State and the People. In Do Luong, to do a good job of fire prevention and fighting in the district and neighboring districts, the Ministry of Public Security has decided to establish Fire Prevention and Fighting Police Department No. 5 located in the district with the task of directing, guiding, organizing the implementation of propaganda, education of the Law, knowledge, performing fire prevention, fighting and rescue work in the districts of Do Luong, Yen Thanh, Tan Ky and Anh Son. Fire Prevention and Fighting Police Department No. 5 has a staff of 26 officers, soldiers and equipment for fire prevention and fighting work.
