Launching plastic products against high tides and flooding
On September 27, in Ho Chi Minh City, a seminar introducing uPVC plastic wall pile products took place.
Mr. Nguyen Hoanh Hoa - Chairman of the Board of Members of Saigon Industry Corporation (CNS) said that this product was born to serve the projects against high tides, flooding, and landslides taking place in Ho Chi Minh City and other provinces across the country, especially in the Central region and the Mekong Delta provinces - places that have suffered a lot of damage due to natural disasters, floods, and landslides.

CNS has invested in building a modern uPVC plastic pile production line with a capacity of 550kg of product/hour, equivalent to building a 50km long embankment/year.
With a lifespan of more than 50 years, uPVC plastic wall piles help the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development and construction units that need to use plastic walls for dike projects to prevent landslides to minimize construction maintenance costs, overcome flooding that obstructs traffic, affects travel and reduces economic losses for people in flooded areas.
Compared with traditional anti-landslide technical solutions, uPVC plastic wall piles have the advantages of not rusting, resistant to saline water, easy to process, cut and edit, saving land area for construction, suitable for all terrains, no need to dig and process foundation, good waterproofing and leakage resistance, lighter than steel and concrete so can be constructed faster than traditional processing methods.
In addition, the product can be easily constructed in all weather conditions and is cheaper than traditional methods.
This product replaces the earthen embankments made of Melaleuca piles, concrete walls used for irrigation works of ponds, lakes, canals, creating a solid embankment system.
According to Mr. Nguyen Van Tho, General Director of CNS, in addition to the domestic market, Saigon Industry Corporation will export uPVC wall piles to markets in Thailand, Laos, Malaysia, India, Cambodia.../.
