Launch of the Poetry Group "Wind Blue Afternoon"
(Baonghean) -On September 22, at the headquarters of the People's Committee of Nghi Phong commune, Nghi Loc district, the Elderly Poetry Group - Vietnam Elderly Culture Center held the launching ceremony of the Afternoon Wind Poetry Group.
The members of the Wind Lam Chieu Poetry Club are all retired officials, civil servants and workers in Nghi Loc district (Nghi Phong, Phuc Tho, Nghi Thai communes), Vinh city (Hung Loc, Hung Binh) and Thanh Chuong and Tan Ky districts. Among the 19 members, there are 3 former senior military and police officers, 1 company general director, 1 principal and 1 vice principal of a high school.
The poetry collection Gio Lam Chieu - the first product of the members of the Poetry Club, was introduced at the Launch Ceremony. With a strong "homegrown" quality, Gio Lam Chieu is the heartfelt voice of the members for their homeland and country, specifically for the land and people downstream of the Ca River, with famous landmarks such as Cua Lo, Cua Hoi, and Song Ngu.
