Launch of the Self-Management Group for People Who Have Made Mistakes

(Baonghean.vn) - On the evening of August 21, the Party Committee and mass organizations of Block 17, Ha Huy Tap Ward, Vinh City organized a meeting with citizens who had made mistakes in the block.

In block 17, Ha Huy Tap ward, 6 people who served their prison sentences have returned to reintegrate into the community and have been cared for and helped by local authorities and mass organizations, creating conditions to find jobs; the lives of those who once made mistakes in the block have gradually stabilized, they are confident in reintegrating, actively participating in mass activities and production labor.

Mr. Nguyen Hong Ngai, Deputy Secretary, Head of Block 17 discussed some issues on security and order in the block.

At the meeting, those who once made mistakes had the opportunity to express their thoughts and aspirations and promised to implement the Party's policies and the State's laws, encourage, support and help each other in life, and stay away from social evils.

Also at the meeting, the Executive Committee of Block 17 established a Self-Management Team by people who had made mistakes in the past with the purpose of ensuring security and order in the block and especially helping and detecting bad elements for the authorities at all levels.
