The French government has launched an online website to combat terrorist propaganda, just three weeks after the deadly terrorist attacks in Paris that killed 17 people.
In a statement released yesterday, the French government said the website is aimed at families or friends of those vulnerable to radicalization, young people and the general public. The top section of the website, titled “End Terrorism,” features a two-minute video debunking the rhetoric used by terrorists to recruit members.
Through the new website, internet users can find information about terrorist threats, government responses, ways to expose extremist propaganda and counter those threats.
