Launching "Green Sunday"

(Baonghean.vn) - On January 19, 2014, the Provincial Youth Union Standing Committee organized the launch of "Green Sunday". Participating in the launch were 4,000 members of the Vinh City Youth Union; units under the Provincial Agencies and Enterprises; universities and colleges in the city.

Youth Union members have carried out a general environmental cleaning on sidewalks, corridors, residential areas, hospital gates, schools; promoted the clearance of traffic safety corridors and urban order, whitewashed tree stumps on main roads of Vinh City such as Le Mao, Ho Tung Mau, Phan Dang Luu, Le Nin Avenue...; removed billboards, banners and slogans violating traffic safety corridors to welcome the New Year of the Horse.
