(Baonghean.vn) -On the morning of March 31, under the chairmanship of comrade Tran Van Mao - Standing member of the Provincial People's Council, the Standing Committee of the Provincial People's Council held a conference to deploy key tasks for April 2014. Attending the conference were comrades of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee: Vo Viet Thanh - Secretary of the Vinh City Party Committee, Head of the Economic - Budget Committee of the Provincial People's Council; Tran Cong Duong - Chief of the Provincial Party Committee Office, Head of the Cultural - Social Committee of the Provincial People's Council; representatives of the National Assembly Delegation, the People's Committee, and the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee.

In March, the Provincial People's Council focused on monitoring and surveying according to its functions. Specifically, it monitored the implementation of State regulations on mineral exploitation activities in Quy Hop district; surveyed the issuance of certificates of land use rights, house ownership rights and assets attached to land; collected and spent money for organized extra teaching and learning in public schools according to Resolution 272 of the Provincial People's Council; arranged, assigned and resolved policies for cadres in the Ban Ve hydropower reservoir area according to Decision No. 1826 of the Provincial People's Committee; surveyed a number of cases according to citizens' petitions...
The Standing Committee of the Provincial People's Council also examined the plan to allocate government bond capital to implement the National Target Program on New Rural Development in 2014. Received and processed citizens' complaints and denunciations, received 17 citizens and 14 complaints and denunciations and forwarded them to competent agencies for resolution.

At the meeting, delegates raised issues that need attention. That is, there needs to be a solution to ensure the rights of sugarcane growers when their products are not purchased at harvest time, leading to many areas of sugarcane growing on the fields; paying attention to environmental protection in some projects and production facilities such as the dairy farm in Nghia Dan, the Vida brewery in Truong Thi... Solving existing problems in mineral exploitation; implementing apartment building projects, new urban areas; converting agricultural and forestry farms...
Comrade Tran Van Mao concluded: The task in April is to focus on implementing the Constitution, including reviewing all resolutions and decisions of the Provincial People's Council to promptly abolish, amend, and supplement them, ensuring their constitutionality and legality with the 2013 Constitution. Strengthening the propaganda work on implementing the Constitution in the system of elected agencies from the province to the grassroots level. Preparing plans and conditions for organizing citizen reception, receiving complaints and denunciations from citizens according to the Law on Citizen Reception, effective from July 1, 2014.
