Overview of the workshop |
In Nghe An, the farm economy has been and continues to be strongly developed, with 3,185 farms in many fields: cultivation, forestry, livestock, aquaculture, and mixed farms. Of these, 420 farms meet the criteria according to Circular 27/2011/TT-BNN of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development, and have been granted Farm Economy Certificates; 2,765 farms meet the criteria according to the old regulations. In reality, although the Party and the State have many policies and guidelines, some Party committees and local authorities have not really paid attention to the development of this economic sector. The workshop was organized to determine the importance of the farm economy and review policies to support the development of the farm economy.
At the workshop, delegates contributed many enthusiastic opinions on the current status of farm economic development, experience in farm construction, achievements and difficulties that need to be resolved; contributed comments on the draft policies to support farm economic development of the Ministry of Agriculture to be submitted to the Prime Minister, and proposed policy solutions to innovate farm economic development in the province in the period 2015-2020.
