Reviewing power grid planning, appraising, inspecting and accepting electrical works
(Baonghean.vn) - On June 30, at Nghe An Power Company, the Northern Power Corporation (EVNNPC) held a conference to review the work of power grid planning, appraisal, inspection and acceptance of power projects built in the provinces of Thanh Hoa, Nghe An, and Ha Tinh.

At the conference, representatives of the Northern Power Corporation reported on the general situation of power grid operation, load demand, planning and investment demand for power projects in the region; the situation of investment in construction of power projects, appraisal and inspection of construction acceptance conditions and difficulties and obstacles in project implementation in Thanh Hoa, Nghe An and Ha Tinh provinces.
For Nghe An province, the Nghe An Power Development Plan for the period 2016 - 2025, with a vision to 2035, approved 77 110kV grid items for the period 2016 - 2025. As of May 31, 2022, the Northern Power Corporation has implemented and put into operation 32 110kV grid items. At the same time, 17 110kV grid items have been implemented. Currently, the volume of 110kV grid put into operation in the period 2016 - 2025 reaches about 41.56% compared to the approved plan (if including the list being implemented, it reaches about 63.63%).

The volume of planning adjustment is mainly to adjust the progress and scale of 110kV grid items. The progress of investment implementation and putting projects into operation is behind the planning schedule. However, the 110kV grid items have been put into operation to meet the load demand and serve the economic development in the area.
Nghe An has deployed the planning of the power grid. In the period of 2022 - 2025, it is proposed to add 20 110kV power grid categories with an increased scale of 193.6 km of 110kV transmission lines and 736 MVA.

Regarding the appraisal and inspection of works, the 3 Power Companies have fully complied with the regulations of the state management agencies. However, the compliance with the regulations on inspection and acceptance during the construction process and when the works are completed and put into use in accordance with the regulations has not been given due attention.
At the conference, representatives of the leaders of the Power Companies: Thanh Hoa, Nghe An, Ha Tinh, the Project Management Boards of the Northern Power Corporation also reported on the operation of the power grid, load demand; planning and implementation of investment in construction of power projects; appraisal work, acceptance conditions, difficulties and obstacles in implementing projects in the province from 2016 to present.

Delegates discussed and proposed solutions to remove difficulties and obstacles in power grid planning, appraisal, inspection and acceptance of power projects.
Concluding the conference, Deputy General Director of the Northern Power Corporation Le Quang Thai requested that in the coming time, units must focus on overcoming difficulties and completing construction investment projects according to schedule and plan. In particular, units must coordinate more closely with local authorities to promote and speed up site clearance for power project construction. At the same time, he requested leaders of the Department of Industry and Trade, the Provincial People's Committee and relevant sectors in localities to coordinate to remove difficulties for each project./.
