Garbage flooded the road along Lam River

The Lam River Road connecting Cua Hoi to Nam Dan is both a traffic route and an eco-tourism and dike protection route. The road passes through the localities of Cua Lo, Nghi Loc, Vinh city, Hung Nguyen, and Nam Dan.

The section from Nam Dan to Hung Nguyen after the Lunar New Year is littered with garbage, affecting both traffic and the environment. It is the tourist and festival season, so local authorities are requested to find a solution. Here are some photos taken by reporters on the afternoon of February 25:

Despite the signs prohibiting dumping, garbage is still scattered along the Lam River road through Hung Long - Hung Nguyen. Mr. Le Pham Hung, Vice Chairman of Hung Nguyen District People's Committee, said: The communes of Hung Nguyen District currently contract with Hung Nguyen Environmental Company to collect garbage once a week.
