Young rapper surprises with Nghe accent at Rap Viet season 2

Growing up in Vinh city in a family with strict education but passionate about Rap music, Thang had to struggle a lot with the family's opposition. His parents did not let him pursue this music genre to focus on studying. Pursuing his own musical dream instead of choosing the path that his family wanted, Thang convinced his parents with his own passion and talent with initial successes.

Thang has built 3 famous music groups in Vinh city: "Basical band", "Young man" and "Local music" with about 20 members led by Thang. Thang is also an official member and is currently active in "HUSTLANG" - a Rap group in the Top 1 of Central Vietnam.

The day Thang went to Saigon to compete in Rap Viet, he had no one to go with him or know anyone in Saigon. Thang rented a small room and practiced every day, forgetting his loneliness and isolation with the desire to stand on the big stage of Rap Viet to prove his talent and his chosen path to his family, brothers, and friends. The young man wanted to conquer the big stage, bringing Rap of the youth of the Central region in general and Nghe An in particular to the Rap community across the country.

In Rap Viet season 2, when it was Thang's turn, there was only one empty seat on Coach Karik's team. However, because the pressure would be extremely high for the later contestants, MC Tran Thanh asked the judges for their opinions on increasing the chances for this year's contestants.

Very perceptive, JustaTee - a judge of the competition said: "Our program was born to create conditions for you to express yourself and have a good spirit to contribute to Rap Viet. Let me ask you a question, do the coaches here agree to open more positions for you? For a fair program...". And this received 100% support from the coaches and finally the 6 coaches decided to open more slots for each team to 10 contestants. Although adding more members to each team not only creates more pressure and workload for the coaches, it is thanks to this decision that rapper Hoang Xuan Thang was lucky enough to have a relationship with coach Wowy.

By putting his heart and soul into the rap "Tía Má Em" based on the original song "Tía Em Má Em", this young man conquered both coaches Wowy and Rhymastic.

Coach Wowy commented that it was Thang's humorous and energetic style that made him want him on his team to do something new.

Coach Rhymastic also shares the same opinion. He said: “For the same reason as Wowy, Rhymastic is attracted to your energy, it is a very positive energy, your color is something Rhymastic has never seen before on this program”.

The fun of rapper Hoang Xuan Thang made Judge JustaTee unable to resist, he said: "This kind of satirical music is really attractive and is a breath of fresh air for our show."

Both judges decided to give rapper Hoang Xuan Thang to coach Wowy and are waiting to see how this male coach will "mold" him in the next round.
