Application:
- Cure flu, fever, chills: 30g lemon basil leaves, 3 thin slices of fresh ginger, 3 fresh onions (roots, tubers, leaves). Boil all ingredients to get the water, give the patient to drink 2 times a day, drink while the water is still warm. Drink the above amount a day, and use continuously for 2 days.
- Cure colds and fever: 15g lemon basil leaves, 5g mint, 8g perilla, 3 thin slices of fresh ginger. Boil all ingredients to get water to drink once a day.
- Cure cough, sore throat: Pick a few lemon basil leaves, chew, hold in mouth for a while, then swallow the juice, discard the pulp.
Basil
According to Oriental medicine, basil has a spicy, hot taste, aromatic smell, and has the effect of inducing sweating, diuresis, and pain relief. The fruit has a sweet and spicy taste, cool properties, and is good for eyesight. The whole plant is effective in treating flu, fever, headache, stuffy nose, bloating, and indigestion.
Application:
- Cure flu and bloating: Basil 20g, lemon basil 10g, rose apple leaves 8g, tangerine peel 6g. Boil all ingredients to get water to drink, divided into 2 doses per day. Use for 3 consecutive days like that.
- Treatment of high blood fat: Take 5-10g of basil seeds and steep them in boiling water with sugar and honey to make a drink that helps reduce blood cholesterol...
- Cure constipation: Basil seeds 5-10g, Malabar spinach 50g. Cook both into soup to eat.
