Gas leak causes fire, mother and 3 children suffer burns all over their bodies
On the afternoon of September 20, Binh Duong General Hospital received 3 patients, a mother and her children: Ms. Hoang Thi Mai Lan (29 years old, residing in Tan Khai commune, Hon Quan district, Binh Phuoc province) and her two sons, Ngo Hoang Lam (5 years old) and (Ngo Hoang Loi) over 3 years old, with burns all over their bodies, life-threatening.

According to Ms. Lan's neighbors, they heard the desperate cries for help from Ms. Lan and her three children in the raging fire in their house, so they rushed in to save them.
The cause of the fire was a gas leak, not an explosion of the gas tank. The fire may have started when Ms. Lan was preparing to cook lunch.
The Emergency Department of Binh Duong General Hospital is mobilizing all medical staff, doctors and nurses to perform bandaging and emergency care. However, according to the consultation, all 3 mothers and children suffered from extremely serious burns all over their bodies and the prognosis is very poor. Among them, Ngo Hoang Loi, just over 3 years old, suffered from severe burns, his entire body was burned.
According to the victim’s family, Ms. Lan’s husband is a farmer. He was away at work when the gas leak caused the fire. Ms. Lan’s family is very poor.
