Philippine military plane crashes, 2 pilots killed
On January 31, the Philippine Air Force said one of its planes crashed into the sea during a training mission that morning, killing two pilots on board.

According to air force spokesman Lieutenant Colonel Enrico Canaya, the SF-260FH aircraft carrying a training pilot and a trainee pilot crashed off the coast of Nasugbu town, Batangas province in the northern Philippines, at 9:45 a.m. (local time).
The crashed plane was reportedly practicing aerobatics with two other planes in preparation for the 70th anniversary of the liberation of Batangas province during World War II.
Rescuers found the bodies of the two pilots 300m from the shore. The cause of the incident is under investigation./.
