A boy went out to play on the balcony of the 9th floor of a building and unfortunately fell to the 4th floor lobby. Despite being treated by a doctor, he still died.

The tragic accident occurred at 2:30 p.m. on July 1, at block B of Ha Thanh Plaza building, 102 Thai Thinh street (Dong Da district, Hanoi).

According to some local residents, the boy, about 5 years old, brought a chair to the balcony of the 9th floor of the building to play. Suddenly, he climbed up the chair, grabbed the guardrail, and rolled down to the lobby of the 4th floor, killing himself. When they heard the loud crash, everyone panicked and ran out of the apartment. Looking down, they saw a child lying motionless in the lobby of the 4th floor of the building.

Immediately after the incident, local residents promptly called 115 emergency, about 20 minutes later doctors and an ambulance arrived at the scene.

Local police and building security guards are currently cordoning off the scene. Meanwhile, doctors and nurses are completing procedures to take the child's body for an autopsy.
