Ronaldinho is at risk of being fired for indiscipline.
The Brazilian striker voluntarily left the team before the second leg of the season without any reports to the leaders or coach of Queretaro.
Ronaldinho signed a two-year contract with Queretaro in September 2014, playing nine games and scoring three goals in the first leg (Apertura) of the 2014-15 season. He was then allowed to return to Brazil and travel to the United States to deal with some personal matters during the off-season, before returning to the club to prepare for the second leg of the Clausura from December 8.
However, over the past three weeks, the former Barcelona player has been absent from training sessions and several friendly matches of the team without giving any reason. Yesterday, Queretaro had to announce that Ronaldinho will likely be fired if he does not appear at the club on December 26 to discuss his future commitment with the team and re-examine his health.

Ronaldinho always caused trouble in every team he played for because of disciplinary problems. |
Club president Arturo Villanueva has announced that he will look for a replacement player if Ronaldinho continues to be absent from the team next week.
Sporting director Joaquin Beltran stressed that the current attitude of the two-time world player of the year in 2004 and 2005 could cause problems for other players. "We have to talk about Ronaldinho. And above all, we have to find a solution that makes everyone happy," he said. However, the director also said he could not guarantee that the 34-year-old would continue playing for Queretaro when the return leg begins on January 9, 2015, unless he commits to giving 100 percent on the pitch.
“Obviously we cannot be satisfied with Ronaldinho’s absence, as the rest of the squad are working hard for the second phase of the season. But we still believe that he will return to the club on the 26th to sit down and discuss everything more clearly. Ronaldinho is a player who can make a difference on the pitch, has great tactical thinking, and has created magical moments with the ball. The issue that worries us a little at the moment is his physical condition. The most important thing is that he is completely ready, both physically and mentally, to show the inherent qualities of a top football player,” Director Joaquin Beltran stated.
