Ronaldo is about to build children's hospitals across South America
The Portuguese striker is the founder and main financier of a hospital chain in remote South America.
Cristiano Ronaldo has come up with the idea of starting construction of a children's hospital in Santiago, Chile, according to lawyers. New York-based law firm Brafman & Associates revealed that CR7 and Italian billionaire Alessandro Proto are the two main sponsors of the project.
"Billionaire Proto is excited to collaborate with Cristiano Ronaldo Cristiano - the only player to have ever won FIFA's best player of the year award (The Best)", reported FourFourTwo.

The community project is expected to be completed and put into use before 2020. This is just one of the first hospitals in Ronaldo and Proto's charity project across South America.
Not only is he a talented player, Cristiano Ronaldo is also famous as a superstar who loves to do charity work. The striker born in 1985 regularly donates blood and is an ambassador for charities such as Save the Children, Unicef and World Vision.
Earlier this year, CR7 auctioned off his 2013 Ballon d'Or and raised £600,000 to support the Make-A-Wish charity he founded. As a father of four children, Ronaldo understands better than anyone that children need love and the best care.

These charitable projects will only make up a small portion of Cristiano Ronaldo's earnings. According to Forbes magazine, the Portuguese superstar is the world's highest-paid athlete, earning an average of £70 million a year.
