The incident occurred on the morning of April 24, at Dien Thanh beach, Dien Chau district (Nghe An).

Accordingly, at that time, three students Hoang Duc Anh (grade 7), Ngo Van Thang and Han The Hoang, all studying at Dien Hanh Secondary School (Dien Chau district - Nghe An) invited each other to go swimming at Dien Thanh beach.

Relatives gathered at the beach to search.

Unfortunately, Duc Anh and Thang were swept away by the waves. Hearing the desperate cries for help, Hoang Van Loc (30 years old - resident of Hai Nam hamlet, Dien Ngoc commune, Dien Chau district) was passing by on his motorbike, immediately abandoned his motorbike, jumped down and saved Thang to shore, while Duc Anh was swept away by the water.

As of this morning (April 25), the family and local authorities are still searching but have not found Duc Anh's body.
