Bustling singing voices. |
Attendees of the ceremony were able to explore the origins and development process of the people in the West: In the past, people with the custom of shifting cultivation, nomadic life, self-sufficiency, and poverty lived a life of hardship. Since the Party showed the way, people's lives have become increasingly prosperous, gradually keeping pace with the lowlands. Today, ethnic minorities in the West of Nghe An are making great efforts to build new rural areas. The West has "taken off its old clothes", putting on a colorful picture, and the sunflower field in Nghia Son commune is a new piece that creates that picture.
Ms. Nguyen Thi Hoa, a tourist from Hanoi, shared her feelings on the opening night of the festival: “Coming to Western Nghe An, I felt like I was immersed in the beautiful nature and the captivating colors of flowers. Immersing myself in the traditional festivals, customs, folk songs, dances, architecture and cuisine... All of these things made me love the land and people here even more.”
