Withdraw money at ATM without wearing mask
When using an ATM, cardholders must not cover their faces or prevent cameras from recording. If there is an intentional violation, the bank has the right to refuse the transaction.
That is one of the new regulations stated in the third draft circular guiding the equipment, management and operation of ATM systems that has just been released by the State Bank for comments.
The State Bank also requires banks to install rearview mirrors at ATMs so that customers can observe behind them during transactions. On ATMs, banks must also install devices to prevent copying and theft of card information.
In the draft circular, the State Bank also standardized the time for resolving and verifying complaints for domestic ATM transactions to be seven working days from the date of receiving the customer's complaint. For off-network transactions, the resolution time is 12 days.
The maximum time to fix an ATM problem is 72 hours from the time the problem occurs. In case the ATM runs out of money, the bank must replenish funds within 4 working hours. If it is outside working hours, the time to replenish funds must not exceed 15 hours.
