The program lasts from December 8-22 at Hanoi Exhibition House (No. 16 Ngo Quyen, Hanoi).
The works on display this time are created on many different materials such as: oil, lacquer, acrylic, fabric...; in which, oil paintings make up the majority.
Each painting is a slice of cultural space, subtle touches of Vietnamese landscapes and people expressed through each author's own perspective.
While artists Lan Huong, Thuy Huong... use realistic, impressionistic, expressive techniques to skillfully exploit the beauty of nature and people in everyday life, other authors (like Bui Mai Hien, Tran Thuy Linh...) use the special properties of oil paint to present multidimensional thinking spaces in abstract works.
Hidden deep within are the artist's emotions or inner thoughts about the connection between the individual and life and the surrounding world.
In the middle of the common space, artist Tran Thanh Thuc chose for himself a separate path with the material of fabric cut paintings and familiar yet strange colors on the theme of streets and nature.
The “Colors” exhibition is an annual event for female artists from the North, Central and South. This is the sixth time the program has been organized to connect female artists, providing a place for them to express their creative views and their own perspectives on art and life.
