Books about General Vo Nguyen Giap sell well at Tet Book Street 2014
The 2014 Tet Book Street Festival with the theme “HCMC - The City I Love” officially ended after February 3 (the 4th day of Tet).
It is estimated that about 1 million people visited the book street during the event, from January 28 (December 28, Quy Ty year) with many best-selling books.

According to information from the organizing committee, at the Culture - Literature Publishing House area, one of the three best-selling books is Vo Nguyen Giap in the Long March of the Century. At the General Publishing House area, the best-selling book is The General in the People's Heart.
General Vo Nguyen Giap, sovereignty over seas and islands, and Southern amateur music were also the three main highlights of the recent Tet Book Street.
At the end of the 2014 Tet Book Street Festival, according to the organizers, the total revenue of the units reached nearly 3.5 billion VND, the number of books sold reached 50,000 copies. The book area of the US Consulate General library and the free reading cafe area managed by FPT had more than 9,700 readers.
