The environment during the production process of Nghe An Sugarcane Factory is always humid, dusty, and has high temperatures, causing equipment to break down and corrode. This means that the cost of purchasing some equipment must be frequent. From that reality, Mr. Nguyen Anh Quy came up with the idea of ​​a level sensor, automatically controlling the system of feeding the fuel residue to the boiler.

The residue level sensor system has the function of reporting the status of the amount of residue fuel circulating in the supply pipe to the combustion chamber, from here it will transfer signals to the automatic control modes to regulate the related equipment. However, the process of using the conductivity sensor imported from the Federal Republic of Germany has some limitations such as: The equipment is purchased from abroad so the cost is high, the accuracy of reporting the status of the residue fuel supply is not high and it often fails...

Based on that reality, Mr. Nguyen Anh Quy and his colleagues have researched, created and put into use sensor equipment, replacing imported equipment. Up to now, after 7 years of application, the sensor equipment manufactured by Mr. Nguyen Anh Quy has completely replaced and overcome the limitations of the equipment imported from Germany before. In addition, it has helped the enterprise save nearly 1.2 billion VND since its replacement in May 2009 until now.

Automatic safety of fuel pipes

For Nghe An Petroleum Company, the initiative of installing an automatic pressure reduction system for the Nghi Huong - Ben Thuy pipeline by Mr. Dinh Viet Hoang brings high practical value.

The oil pipeline connecting Nghi Huong warehouse (Cua Lo town) to Ben Thuy warehouse (Hung Dung ward, Vinh city) is 15km long. The task of this pipeline is to import and export goods with an average annual volume of more than 300,000m3; the frequency of pumping the pipeline is 2 times/day. Although the pipeline is made of steel, oil has the property of expanding when the temperature increases, leading to the amount of liquid occupying space in the pipeline, causing increased pressure, and the risk of the pipeline bursting at any time.

To ensure the safety of this oil pipeline, Mr. Dinh Viet Hoang has researched and proposed a solution to install an additional safety valve and a return pipeline system from the discharge pipeline. When the pressure in the pipeline exceeds the safety valve's set threshold, the valve will open and automatically return the oil to each oil tank. This solution was installed and put into use by Nghe An Petroleum Company in April 2012.

Optimize internet service quality

In the period 2011 - 2016, VNPT Nghe An had hundreds of creative initiatives successfully applied in practice. Among them, the initiative to optimize the deployment and installation of MiniDSLAM equipment to reduce the distance to subscribers, improve the quality of broadband services by Mr. Nguyen Hoai Nam and his colleagues.
The goal is to have the most optimal solution to deploy and install 45 mini stations to achieve efficiency, optimize deployment costs, maximize the capacity of the existing copper cable network, shorten the distance from the station to the customer's home, provide MyTV service, and improve the quality of internet service.

From the requirements, Mr. Nguyen Hoai Nam and his colleagues have researched and proposed an optimal solution for deploying and installing MiniDSLAM equipment to reduce the distance to subscribers and improve the quality of broadband services. Thanks to the above solutions, VNPT Nghe An has deployed and installed 38/45 new mini stations with a total of 4,864 ports in the areas. Implemented the reduction of the distance from subscribers to the station for 1,600 subscribers from 5km to 1.5 - 2km, significantly improving the quality of internet services on copper cables; developed about 2,000 new MyTV subscribers in the concave areas.
