On Thursday, June 14, 2012, the National Assembly (NA) held a plenary session in the hall to continue listening to questions from NA deputies and answering questions from Government members.

National Assembly Chairman Nguyen Sinh Hung chaired the meeting.

1. Minister of Industry and Trade Vu Huy Hoang answered questions directly from 22 National Assembly deputies from 16 provinces and centrally run cities, focusing on the following contents:

- Anti-monopoly in the electricity, petrol and oil industries, and the mechanism for regulating petrol and oil prices;

- Planning investment and managing the operation of hydropower plants, including Song Tranh 2 Hydropower Plant, to ensure safety and socio-economic efficiency;

- Supporting industry;

- Smuggling, tax evasion, trade fraud, production and consumption of counterfeit, fake and poor quality goods;

- The situation of foreign traders purchasing agricultural products and other foods from our country's farmers;

- Solutions to overcome difficulties and support businesses...

During the questioning process, Deputy Prime Minister Hoang Trung Hai and Minister of Construction Trinh Dinh Dung clarified a number of related contents.

Then, National Assembly Chairman Nguyen Sinh Hung gave his final remarks answering questions from Minister of Industry and Trade Vu Huy Hoang.

2. Minister of Public Security Tran Dai Quang answered questions directly from 25 National Assembly deputies from 19 provinces and centrally run cities, focusing on the following contents:

- The Ministry's responsibility in ensuring political security, social order and safety; fighting and preventing crimes in all fields;

- Crime is increasing, especially juvenile crime;

- Environmental problems, environmental crimes and solutions;

- Cybercrime, cyber security and information security issues;

- Measures to implement the law on emergency arrest, temporary detention, temporary custody, prison management, execution of sentences...

During the questioning process, Minister of Transport Dinh La Thang clarified a number of related contents.

Then, National Assembly Chairman Nguyen Sinh Hung gave his final remarks answering questions from Minister of Public Security Tran Dai Quang.
