(Baonghean.vn)-This morning, July 4, 46,925 candidates from Vinh Examination Cluster entered the first exam subject of the 2012 University and College Entrance Exam, Round 1. Round 1 includes 2 exam groups: A (Math, Physics, Chemistry) and A1 (Math, Physics, Foreign Language).
The total number of candidates registered for the first round of the exam was 46,925, of which Vinh University had 15,891 candidates, 41 universities in Hanoi had 23,731 candidates, 28 universities in Ho Chi Minh City had 7,416 candidates. The Vinh Cluster Inter-University Examination Council mobilized 1,388 examination rooms, 18 examination clusters and 72 examination sites; mobilized 3,859 staff to direct, invigilate, protect and serve the exam.
On the day of exam registration yesterday (July 3), the entire exam cluster had 30,723 candidates coming to complete exam registration procedures (reaching a rate of 65.47%). Of which, the highest rate was from the University of Finance and Marketing with 89.18%, Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology and Education with 80.22%, and Ho Chi Minh City University of Food Industry with 82.27%. The school with the lowest rate of candidates coming to complete procedures was Hanoi University of Education with 37.14%. Vinh University alone had 12,012 candidates coming to complete procedures, reaching a rate of 75.59%.
This morning, candidates will take the first exam, Math, in essay format with a duration of 180 minutes. In the afternoon, they will take the Physics exam in multiple choice format with a duration of 90 minutes.
