Sanix Cup 2013: U17 HA.GL - Arsenal JMG lost to U17 Japan 1-2

Facing the Japanese U17 team with superior physique, the players of U17 HA.GL – Arsenal JMG were still very confident in holding the ball and organizing sharp counter-attacks. However, the Japanese U17 team affirmed their strength when scoring 2 goals in the first half. The Sanix Cup 2013 will feature 16 teams divided into four groups, with the first and second place teams from each group advancing to the knockout stage. The third and fourth placed teams from each group will advance to the knockout stage of another tournament called the Global Arena Cup.
In the group stage, each match will be played for 70 minutes. In the knockout round, each match will be played for 80 minutes. Notably, in case of a draw, no extra time will be applied. The winner or loser will be decided by a penalty shootout. In the final match, 20 minutes of extra time will be applied. If no goals are scored, a penalty shootout will be applied.
Since there are no draws, in the group stage, teams will be ranked as follows: 4 points for a win, 0 points for a loss, 2.5 points for a penalty shootout win, and 1.5 points for a penalty shootout loss.
