SantaFe is being assembled in Vietnam
The 7-seat SantaFe SUV is being assembled by Hyundai Thanh Cong in Ninh Binh, after many years of distribution in the form of completely imported vehicles.

Accordingly, the first batch of SantaFe cars assembled in Vietnam will be launched on the market next December and become the third Hyundai model after Avante and Sonata (trial production) to be put on the production line by Hyundai Thanh Cong at the factory located in Ninh Binh.
SantaFe assembled by Hyundai Thanh Cong is the 2015 version with two options of gasoline and diesel engines. Of which, the gasoline engine has a cylinder capacity of 2.4 liters, a capacity of 173 horsepower at 6,000 rpm and a maximum torque of 226 Nm at 3,750 rpm. The diesel engine is a turbocharged type with a cylinder capacity of 2.2 liters CRD-i, a capacity of 194 horsepower at 3,800 rpm and a maximum torque of 436 Nm in the range of 1,800 to 2,500 rpm.
All "domestic" SantaFe versions share a 6-speed automatic transmission, with the option of front-wheel drive or full-time 4-wheel drive. The car has 3 driving modes including Normal (standard), Comfort (smooth) and Sport (sport), operating according to different terrain conditions and set by the driver.

The car is equipped with an electronic handbrake system, remote-controlled electric trunk, panoramic sunroof, DVD screen with integrated Vietnam navigation map, front Bi-Xenon headlights and LED rear lights,...
In addition, the vehicle's functional equipment also includes electric driver's and passenger's seats with 2 memory positions for the driver's seat, rain sensor, 2-zone automatic air conditioning, 6-speaker sound system, etc.
Safety equipment of the "domestic" SantaFe has disc brakes integrated with anti-lock braking system ABS and electronic brake force distribution EBD, electronic balance ESC, traction control TSC, downhill assist system and hill start assist DBC, and 6 airbags.
Currently, the retail price of the "domestic" SantaFe has not been disclosed.
