Indonesia U19 striker Jens Raven shows determination ahead of the U19 Southeast Asian semi-final; Argentina team captain adds another record to his collection. That is the outstanding sports news of the past 24 hours.
Superstar Messi has just set another amazing record
Argentina captain and superstar Messi has set a record for making more accurate passes in the last two seasons than the top five players in Europe's top leagues.

The achievement is particularly remarkable given Lionel Messi’s absence from Europe. La Pulga left the continent after 19 seasons – including his first 17 at Barcelona – to join Inter Miami on a free transfer last summer. The eight-time Ballon d’Or winner is in his first full season in the United States, but has been plagued by injuries, missing games for club and country.
The Argentina captain added another record to his collection last week when he won the 2024 Copa America, with Argentina beating Colombia 1-0 in extra time in the final in Miami.
Olympics 2024: Who will be crowned Queen of Soccer?
Canada's women's team will begin their 2024 Olympic title defense against New Zealand in Saint-Etienne, France. The two teams will compete for one of the top two spots in the group.
As the reigning Olympic women's soccer champions, Canada is expected to have no difficulty making it out of the group stage.

The US women's team is struggling to regain its former glory. Germany, Canada, and Norway are the three remaining teams that have won the Olympics. However, the US women's team has declined significantly in recent times, winning only a bronze medal at the 2020 Olympics and not winning a gold medal since 2012.
