The Telegraph has just released videos of the drama they staged to trap manager Sam Allardyce. In it, the 61-year-old coach thought he was meeting a businessman, who was actually a reporter in disguise, and said things he shouldn't have.
The England manager has suggested to his partner a way to circumvent FA rules on third-party ownership of players, agreeing to attend an event to talk about it in return for a £400,000 fee.
Not only that, but FA officials will also be “hot-faced” when hearing Mr. Allardyce’s comments about their operations. The coach said that the FA only cares about making money but “spent £870 million on Wembley Stadium stupidly”.
The Football Association, clearly unhappy with the comments coming from the man they hired as national team manager, immediately asked the Telegraph for details of the conversation.

Besides displeasing the authority of English football, Mr. Allardyce also criticized his predecessors, the duo Roy Hodgson and assistant Gary Neville.
The former Three Lions head coach was mocked with the name "Woy" and comments that he "puts people to sleep" and "has no personality". Meanwhile, Neville was hinted to have had actions that overwhelmed his superiors when working in matches at EURO 2016.
Mr. Sam Allardyce was just appointed as England's head coach 2 months ago and led the Three Lions in 1 match in the 2018 World Cup European round.
The 61-year-old is not the first England manager to be framed by reporters. In 2006, Sven-Goran Eriksson fell into a similar drama orchestrated by the News of the World and left the England team after that year's World Cup.
