The Telegraph has just released videos of the drama they staged to trap manager Sam Allardyce. In it, the 61-year-old coach thought he was meeting a businessman, who was actually a reporter in disguise, and said things he shouldn't have said.
The England manager suggested to his partner a way to circumvent the FA’s third-party ownership rules, agreeing to attend an event to talk about it in return for a £400,000 fee.
Not only that, but Football Association officials will also be “hot-faced” when hearing Mr. Allardyce’s comments about their operations. The coach said that the FA only cares about making money but “stupidly spent £870 million on Wembley”.
The Football Association was clearly unhappy with the comments from the man they hired as national team manager and immediately asked the Telegraph for details of the conversation.

Besides offending the English football authorities, Mr. Allardyce also criticized his predecessors, the duo Roy Hodgson and assistant Gary Neville.
The former England boss was branded "Woy" and described as "putting people to sleep" and "having no personality". Neville was also accused of overpowering his superiors during matches at EURO 2016.
Mr. Sam Allardyce was just appointed as the head coach of the England team 2 months ago and led the Three Lions in 1 match in the 2018 World Cup round in Europe.
The 61-year-old is not the first England manager to be framed by reporters. In 2006, Sven-Goran Eriksson fell into a similar drama set up by the News of the World and left the England team after that year's World Cup.
