There will be a set of criteria for family behavior soon.
The Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism has just released the latest information on the Family Code of Conduct to promote moral education and family lifestyle, and to overcome increasing problems in marriage and family.
According to information from the Department of Family, Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism (MOCST), the pilot plan to implement the Family Code of Conduct will be implemented.in 2018 - 2019 in 6 provinces/cities: Lao Cai, Quang Ninh, Thua Thien Hue, Ho Chi Minh City...
During the implementation process, activities will be integrated: training, programs for the whole people to unite to build a cultural life, seminars, thematic talks, and organizing to mobilize households to register to implement the criteria.
Social organizations in each locality (Youth Union, Women's Union, Elderly Association, Veterans Association, etc.) coordinate to implement and promote communication work so that the pilot implementation achieves results.

The set of family behavioral criteria was developed by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism with 4 behavioral criteria in the family including: behavioral criteria between husband and wife; behavioral criteria between parents and children, grandparents and grandchildren; behavioral criteria between children and parents, grandchildren and grandparents; behavioral criteria between brothers and sisters.
These criteria aim to: Contribute to identifying and gradually bringing into life the standards of ethical values and culture of Vietnamese people in the period of industrialization, modernization and international integration; Strengthen legal awareness, promote ethics, conscience, and responsibility of each person to themselves, the community, society and the country, prevent moral degradation in the family and society; raise awareness of building and preserving the sustainable happiness of each family towards stability and civilization for the whole society.

The subjects of application of the Criteria Set are family members as prescribed by the Law on Marriage and Family, including: wife, husband, biological parents, adoptive parents, stepfather, stepmother, parents-in-law, parents-in-law, biological children, adopted children, etc.

From the second quarter to the fourth quarter of this year (2018), the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism will also issue a project to propagate and educate ethics and lifestyle in families until 2020. In addition to promoting propaganda, so that the set of criteria can be put into practice, the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism will also require localities to implement the content of ethics and lifestyle education integrated into the activities of villages, hamlets, and residential groups.
