Vietnam's environmental status report 2011-2015 is about to be announced.
On September 29, the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment will announce the National Environmental Status Report for the 2011-2015 period to provide an overview of Vietnam's environment.
According to the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment, the report will provide an overview of socio-economic development activities and pressure on the environment over the past five years; climate change and unusual natural disasters have increased negative impacts on the environment.

In addition, the report also analyzes and evaluates the changes in the environment of land, water, air, biodiversity and outstanding environmental issues in recent times. In particular, environmental pollution incidents are on the rise in both number and impact.
In addition, the report will also assess the impact of environmental pollution on public health and socio-economic development activities; assess environmental management, opportunities and challenges, thereby orienting environmental protection work and proposing specific solutions, as well as recommendations to the National Assembly and the Government on environmental protection work in the new period.
It is expected that Minister Tran Hong Ha will chair the report announcement ceremony./.
