Horrific building collapse in India, burying 250 people alive
Xinhua News Agency reported on April 17 that a carpet factory building near Jalandhar, India collapsed on the evening of April 15, burying at least 250 people under the rubble. Rescue efforts are being carried out urgently by authorities. A local resident said that there was a loud explosion before the building collapsed, and that there were about 250 to 300 people in the building at the time.
