Reorganizing the regional polyclinic system
(Baonghean.vn) - On the afternoon of October 16, the People's Committee of Nghe An province had a working session with relevant departments and branches to listen to and give opinions on reviewing, evaluating, and rearranging the system of regional polyclinics (PKĐKKV) in the province. In 2009, the People's Committee of Nghe An province directed the health sector to review, evaluate, and reorganize 43 medical clinics in the province. After the reorganization, Nghe An province dissolved 21 and left 22 clinics. During the recent period of operation, the majority of medical clinics have successfully completed their assigned tasks, contributing to the health care of people in their areas of responsibility, especially some clinics in mountainous districts and areas with difficult geographical conditions.
However, reality also shows that in recent years, people's health care conditions have been getting better and better, and commune health stations have developed strongly. Therefore, it is necessary to consider dissolving some ineffective clinics that have not been invested in upgrading. On January 9, 2014, the Provincial People's Committee continued to issue a decision on reviewing, evaluating, and rearranging the KĐKKV system.
The representative of the Department of Health presented the Provincial People's Committee with a plan to dissolve 12 KKKKs, and proposed to maintain and upgrade 10 KKKKs. The 10 KKKKs proposed to be maintained are clinics in mountainous districts with difficult traffic, commune health stations that are not yet capable of performing common medical examination and treatment techniques and services, and clinics in some plain districts with mountainous communes, including: Tuan KKKK - Quynh Luu district, Nam Nam KKKK - Nam Dan district, Tay Nghi Loc KKKK, Quang Thanh KKKK - Yen Thanh district, Cat Ngan KKKK - Thanh Chuong district, Chieu Luu KKKK and Huoi Tu KKKK - Ky Son district, Chau Thon KKKK - Que Phong district, Yen Hoa KKKK and Huu Khuong KKKK - Tuong Duong district...
