Reorganize the regional polyclinic system

(Baonghean.vn) - On the afternoon of October 16, the People's Committee of Nghe An province had a working session with relevant departments and branches to listen to and give opinions on reviewing, evaluating, and rearranging the system of regional polyclinics (PKĐKKV) in the province. Comrade Dinh Thi Le Thanh - Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee chaired the meeting.

Comrade Dinh Thi Le Thanh affirmed the necessity of arranging the PKĐKKV system.

In 2009, the People's Committee of Nghe An province directed the health sector to review, evaluate and reorganize 43 public health clinics in the province. After the reorganization, Nghe An province dissolved 21 and left 22 clinics. During the recent operation, the majority of public health clinics have successfully completed their assigned tasks, contributing to the health care of people in their areas of responsibility, especially some clinics in mountainous districts and areas with difficult geographical conditions.

However, reality also shows that in recent years, people's health care conditions have been getting better and better, and commune health stations have developed strongly. Therefore, it is necessary to consider dissolving some ineffective clinics that have not been invested in upgrading. On January 9, 2014, the Provincial People's Committee continued to issue a decision on reviewing, evaluating, and rearranging the KĐKKV system.

The representative of the Department of Health presented the Provincial People's Committee with a plan to dissolve 12 KKKKVs, and proposed to maintain and upgrade 10 KKKKVs. The 10 KKKKVs proposed to be maintained are clinics in mountainous districts with difficult traffic, commune health stations that are not yet capable of performing common medical examination and treatment techniques and services, and clinics in some plain districts with mountainous communes, including: KKKKV Tuan - Quynh Luu district, KKKKV Nam Nam - Nam Dan district, KKKKV Tay Nghi Loc, KKKKV Quang Thanh - Yen Thanh district, KKKKV Cat Ngan - Thanh Chuong district, KKKKV Chieu Luu and KKKKV Huoi Tu - Ky Son district, KKKKV Chau Thon - Que Phong district, KKKKV Yen Hoa and KKKKV Huu Khuong - Tuong Duong district...
