Landslides of thousands of cubic meters of rock and soil forced many people in Tung Huong and Lien Huong villages, Tam Quang commune (Tuong Duong) to go to other villages to borrow vehicles to go somewhere. |
Mr. Lo Minh Truong, head of Tung Huong village, said: "Because my house is quite far away, I only heard a loud noise from the direction of the landslide. I only woke up this morning to see."
Mr. Truong added that previously, due to the impact of storms No. 9 and 10, this road also suffered major landslides, and it took nearly 10 days to clear the road.
This is the only route connecting the two villages of Tung Huong and Lien Huong with other villages and communes. Therefore, as long as the road is not open, more than 1,000 households of “Hai Huong” will remain isolated.
