Landslide, risk of burying power plant

(Baonghean) - Mr. Vi Tan Hoi - Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Tuong Duong district (Nghe An) said: At about 2:00 pm this afternoon (September 13), a landslide occurred at Ban Ve Hydropower Plant in Yen Na commune (Tuong Duong). Specifically: Above the power plant, there are 4 public roads, the last road from the bottom up to the ta-ly roof had previously cracked, now all are soaked with water and there is a phenomenon of landslides. If the rain continues, there is a risk of landslides, burying the power plant.

It is known that at 10:00 am this morning, September 13, Ban Ve Hydropower Plant discharged floodwater to protect the dike. Tuong Duong District People's Committee and Hydropower Plant II Management Board quickly went to inspect and handle the situation in a timely manner.
