On the afternoon of February 13, Nghi Loc District Police said that the unit is temporarily detaining Nguyen Van Hoan (born in 1986), residing in Tan Quang block, Nghi Hai ward; Nguyen Dinh Than (born in 1980), residing in Tan Phuc block, Nghi Hoa ward, Cua Lo town to clarify the act of storing and trading drugs.

Previously, at 12:00 on February 12, a working group of Nghi Loc District Police on patrol in the cemetery area of ​​Xuan Tan hamlet, Nghi Xuan commune discovered and arrested two young men using drugs.

During the fight, the two subjects confessed that the drugs they were using were purchased from Nguyen Van Hoan. When Hoan was arrested, this subject confessed that he had bought the drugs from Nguyen Dinh Than.

On the morning of February 13, the Nghi Loc Police Investigation Agency issued an arrest warrant and urgently searched the residence of Nguyen Dinh Than. There, the authorities seized 5 packages of heroin, totaling 1.4 grams, and 1 package of crystal meth, weighing 1.25 grams.

Currently, the case is being further investigated by the authorities.
