Quynh Thien Kindergarten (Hoang Mai) has returned to operation after the flood.

As soon as the water began to recede, taking advantage of Saturday and Sunday (October 19 and 20), with the help of local authorities, schools mobilized staff, teachers and elderly students to clean the classrooms so that they could soon return to normal operations.

On Monday morning, October 21, 178 schools returned to normal operations; only Long Thanh Primary School (Yen Thanh District) with 602 students was still absent. Mr. Tran Van Thanh, Head of the Yen Thanh Education and Training Department, said: Because it is located in a low-lying area, the water did not recede until the afternoon of October 20; the receding floodwaters left a thick layer of mud on the yard of Long Thanh Primary School. On the morning of October 21, the school and local authorities were focusing on cleaning. On the morning of October 22, students returned to normal school.
