After Ukraine, the US continues to 'look for' new conflicts?
The United States, amid the military conflict in Ukraine, is actively seeking to provoke new conflicts in the world, American economist Peter St. Onge said on the social network X.
“The conflict in Ukraine will end the same way it did in Afghanistan — with depleted coffers and hundreds of thousands of dead, and the warmongers in Washington will simply move on to the next target. They are looking at the possibility of a wider war in Ukraine, the Middle East, confrontation over Taiwan, and pushing conflicts from Latin America to Africa,” he wrote.
Economists believe that until the United States achieves a change of leadership in the White House, the number of conflicts will continue to increase.
Russian President Vladimir Putin has repeatedly stated that the era of the unipolar world order led by the United States is becoming a thing of the past, although the West does not want to admit it. However, according to the Russian leader, global tensions can only be reduced by thoroughly strengthening the modern multipolar world system.
In his speech to the Federal Assembly, Mr. Putin called for the formation of a new “world security contour,” noting that Russia is ready for dialogue with all countries.
Russia's general view
Russia's consistent position is that supplying weapons to Ukraine violates the rules, directly draws NATO countries into the conflict and is "playing with fire". Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov noted that any goods containing weapons to Ukraine will become a legitimate target for Russia. According to him, the United States and NATO are directly involved in the conflict, not only supplying weapons but also training personnel in the UK, Germany, Italy and other countries. The Kremlin believes that arming Ukraine with Western weapons does not contribute to negotiations and will have a negative impact.
