Recently, the trend of backpacking tourism through beautiful flower routes across the country has been popular among young people. The fragrance of Hanoi's milk flowers

Hanoi has its own charm in all four seasons. If spring is brilliant with peach blossoms, summer is purple with Lagerstroemia flowers, winter is covered with yellow rapeseed fields, then autumn (September, October, November) is filled with the passionate scent of milk flowers. When the autumn winds rustle, carrying a bit of dryness and coldness, that is also the time when Hanoi's milk flowers spread their fragrance, promising a season of love and happiness that blossoms and also reminds each person of a distant memory.

No one knows since when, in the minds of the capital's residents and tourists, the scent of milk flowers has become the "scent of Hanoi". The alleys filled with pure white flowers evoke in each person's heart nostalgic, fluttering emotions. This flower has also entered poetry, music and painting, typically the timeless love song of the late musician Trinh Cong Son: "Hanoi in autumn, Hanoi in autumn, the season of milk flowers comes, fragrant in every gust of wind. The season of green young rice comes, fragrant in small hands, the sidewalk milk street is fragrant with footsteps...".

Coming to Hanoi every autumn, visitors can easily catch the sweet scent of milk flowers on many streets, but perhaps the most beautiful and romantic are still Thanh Nien, Hoang Dieu, Nguyen Du, Quang Trung streets... The later it gets, when the pace of life becomes slower and quieter, the more seductive and passionate the scent of milk flowers becomes. On a chilly autumn evening, wandering around the streets, visitors will see a peaceful Hanoi, the sweet scent of milk flowers awakening the lingering emotions in everyone's soul.

Lost in the land of flowers Moc Chau

Located about 200km northwest of Hanoi, Moc Chau attracts tourists with its rustic and simple flower seasons. In particular, in late autumn and early winter (mid-November to mid-December), the weather turns cold, which is also the time when Moc Chau puts on a pure white coat of mustard flowers. Visitors coming here at this time are amazed and captivated by the poetic beauty of the mustard hills covering the mountain slopes, especially the area behind the Ban Ang pine forest (Dong Sang commune). From afar, the whole valley of mustard flowers looks like a fluffy white cloud floating gently on the smooth green grass. Leisurely strolling in the pine forest along winding, curving paths, visitors will not be able to resist the pure beauty of the Northwest autumn when suddenly appearing before their eyes are vast mustard hills, stretching as far as the eye can see in the poetic space of the mountains and forests.

Not only white mustard flowers, when coming to Moc Chau, visitors also have the opportunity to admire the beauty of clusters of tiny white plum blossoms, patches of wild sunflowers sparkling with morning dew or bright yellow sunflowers mixed with the red color of poinsettias along the roads leading to the village. The natural flower fences intertwined with the orange-yellow color of ripe tangerines make the red dirt road more vibrant than ever. In the distance are stilt houses floating in the mist, endless green tea hills and herds of dairy cows leisurely grazing. All have become a great source of inspiration for painters and photographers, and when they have to leave this land, each person is left with unforgettable memories.

Romantic buckwheat flower season in Ha Giang

In late autumn (late October, early November), when the yellow color of the terraced fields has just faded, Ha Giang is lit up by the enchanting pink color of the buckwheat flower fields, creating an irresistible attraction that urges tourists to return to the land at the headland of the Fatherland.

Buckwheat, also known as buckwheat, grows in clusters and usually blooms for about a month. When they first bloom, the flowers are tiny white, then turn pink, purple and finally dark red. The petals are clustered into a cone shape, with three triangular sides, holding a grain in the middle. The leaves are also triangular, so they are called buckwheat. Local people often use buckwheat flour to make cakes or mix the seeds with corn to make wine, creating a very unique corn wine flavor. Young buckwheat leaves are used as a green vegetable, when boiled, they are sweet and cool. The stem can also be used as animal feed.

From Quan Ba, Yen Minh, Dong Van, along the "four great mountain passes" of Ma Pi Leng to Meo Vac, buckwheat flowers bloom in full bloom among the towering cat-ear mountains, weaving into carpets on the fields or looming behind the old rammed earth houses. That is why every late autumn, countless tourists come to the Dong Van stone plateau just to admire, cherish the tiny flower petals in their hands, and take a few souvenir photos to preserve these memorable moments.

Sa Pa – Northwest peach blossom paradise

Closing the cold winter, it would be perfect for the journey to explore the Northwest tourism if visitors can experience the peach blossom season in Sa Pa in the spring. Considered the "peach blossom paradise" of the Northwest, Sa Pa is famous for its moldy peach and faded peach varieties, creating a unique beauty because wild peach trees are often hundreds of years old, natural shape, many buds, flowers, fruits, with branches and branches. Moldy peach is a peach variety of the Mong people, with few, plump buds, and light pink flowers. This type of peach grows in deep forests, on rocky mountains and streams, with rough, rugged trunks and branches, and many trees are covered with moss. Meanwhile, faded peach trees have strong trunks and branches, many buds, and pink flowers.

Coming to Sa Pa every spring, visitors will admire the splendid beauty of ancient wild peach trees blooming in the areas of O Quy Ho, Hau Thao, Trung Chai, Ta Phin, Sa Pa, Ban Khoang, Ta Giang Phinh... Not only peach blossoms, but also the pure white pear and plum blossoms competing to bloom, making Sa Pa more full of vitality, the beauty of the desire to rise up and believe in a fresh tomorrow. The rows of mustard greens and kohlrabi also bloom with bright yellow flowers, creating a charming flower path among the clouds.

Wild sunflowers in the Central Highlands

From the end of October onwards, while the highlands of the East and Northwest are filled with the white and pink colors of canola flowers and buckwheat flowers, the Central Highlands are in full bloom with the bright yellow color of wild sunflowers. From the western districts of Quang Nam to the Central Highlands, from Binh Phuoc to Dak Nong, Lam Dong or from Lam Dong through the mountain passes to Gia Lai, up to Kon Tum, to Bien Ho... everywhere, visitors can see carpets of brilliant wild sunflowers stretching to the horizon. Especially, in the cold of early winter, when visiting Da Lat (Lam Dong), visitors will be extremely delighted to admire the wild wild sunflowers weaving through the small streets, next to the ancient villas on the steep slopes. Flowers grow on both sides of the road, on the paths, along the lake, along the stream, blooming on the mountain slopes, creating endless yellow carpets. Although not as brilliant as sunflowers, when in full bloom, wild sunflowers create a golden carpet on almost all the roads leading to the highland city. The best time to see wild sunflowers is in the morning, from about 9 o'clock onwards, when the sun has taken away the last drops of dew, making the wild sunflowers shine brightly and beautifully.

The lands filled with flowers in the cool autumn, the cold winter or the lush spring will be interesting destinations not to be missed for those who love beauty. Come to admire and enjoy the breathtakingly beautiful space, to let your soul wander with the beautiful scenery across the country.
