Drunk driver causes accident and stabs someone

(Baonghean.vn) – At nearly 10 p.m. on September 16, on Nguyen Phong Sac Street (Vinh City), two accidents occurred, including one in which a driver, after the collision, pulled out a knife and chased and stabbed someone.

Accordingly, at 9:30 p.m. at the intersection of Nguyen Binh Khiem and Nguyen Phong Sac, a collision occurred between a Dewoo car with license plate 20A 094.98 and a car 37A-180.25 of Song Lam Taxi Company. Although the collision was not serious, people had to report it to the 113 police force and the ward and city police to come and resolve the matter.

According to information from witnesses, the driver of the Dewoo car with license plate 20A 094.98 showed signs of being drunk. After causing the accident, he did not reconcile but instead pulled out a knife and chased the taxi driver, causing him to flee the scene. He then continued to stab a passenger in the taxi, injuring him, and stabbed a citizen when they intervened.

While the authorities were blocking off the scene, not far away, in front of Hung Dung Gas Station, another serious accident occurred, causing the front of two cars to be completely crushed and turned across the road.

The scene showed that the Kia 37A-256.50 had its front end crushed on the driver's side, a flat tire, and two airbags deployed. The 37A-194.86 had its tire blown, its wheel broken, its front end crushed on the driver's side, and it spun across the road.

Fortunately, the accident caused no casualties.

Authorities are currently investigating.
