The representative of the Ministry's leadership affirmed: STK is a source of documents that teachers and students choose for reference in teaching and learning, but once brought into schools, they must be strictly managed. This is a viewpoint that has been clearly stated in Document No. 6631/BGDĐT - signed on July 25, 2008, guiding the use of textbooks and documents serving teaching and learning in general schools. Accordingly, the principal of a general school is responsible for assigning professional groups to review the content of STK in circulation in the school. If it is discovered that STK is inaccurate or inappropriate, it is necessary to pay attention to students in using it; if it is discovered that STK has major errors, it is necessary to promptly report to the education management agency. The Ministry also stipulates that education management agencies and general schools do not require students to buy STK.
