Minister of Health Nguyen Thi Kim Tien awarded the Second Class Labor Medal to the Department of Organization and Personnel. |
After 70 years of establishing the health sector, 60 years of building and developing the Department of Organization and Personnel, from only a few medical facilities in the first years of the country's establishment, up to now, a basic and complete health system has been formed with all types of specialized medicine, high-tech medicine, specialized medicine, grassroots medicine and other fields such as preventive medicine, rehabilitation treatment, training, scientific research, pharmacy, medical supplies and equipment...
The above achievements have created conditions for people to access health services. If during the resistance war against the French, the number of cadres, civil servants and public employees in the whole sector was only a small number, mainly nurses and midwives, up to now, the whole health sector has a fairly strong team of nearly half a million cadres with all types of expertise, ensuring both quantity and quality.
Up to now, the Department has participated in developing the Health Human Resources Strategy for the period 2012 - 2020, completing the standards for medical staff titles according to legal regulations. The Department has advised on developing and promulgating policies to attract staff, staff rotation regime, increase human resources for lower levels, send medical staff to the grassroots, remote areas, and difficult areas to overcome the shortage of medical staff in these areas.
At this Anniversary Ceremony, the Department of Personnel Organization, Ministry of Health was honored to receive the Second Class Labor Medal.
