On the occasion of the 40th anniversary of national reunification (April 30, 1975 - April 30, 2015), along with the launching ceremony, military parade, and artistic fireworks will be displayed at 7 locations for 20 minutes.

Fireworks display locations include: Saigon River tunnel area (District 2); Ben Duoc Martyrs Memorial Temple (Cu Chi District); Nga Ba Giong Martyrs Memorial Area (Hoc Mon District); Lang Le - Bau Co Relic Site (Binh Chanh District); Can Gio District Football Field; National Historical - Cultural Park (District 9) and Dam Sen Cultural Park (District 11).
The fireworks display will be hosted by the City Command, in coordination with the Department of Culture and Saigon Tourist Corporation.
