With the goal: By 2020, Vinh City will become a tourist center of the North Central region, a tourist destination, attractive services for tourists nationwide, attracting many foreign tourists. The number of tourists will reach 2.5 million, tourism revenue will increase by an average of 15 to 17%/year.
The Resolution proposes the following 6 groups of solutions: - Strengthen the leadership of the Party Committee, the direction and management of the government in tourism development. Propaganda to raise awareness among people in tourism activities. - Develop tourism products that ensure competitiveness and attract tourists. - Build and upgrade urban technical infrastructure to make the city clean, civilized and modern. - Develop tourism associated with building a civilized urban lifestyle and friendly citizens. Actively ensure security and order to ensure safety for tourism activities. - Do a good job of investment promotion; strengthen promotional activities and develop the tourism market of Vinh city. - Create favorable conditions for businesses operating in the tourism service sector and travel agencies to develop in a professional and modern direction. Promote training and improve the quality of human resources for tourism development. |
Immediately after the resolution is issued, Party committees at all levels, from the city to the ward and commune levels, will organize the dissemination and implementation of this Resolution to all Party members and people.
The City People's Committee will develop a specific action program to effectively implement the tasks set forth in the Resolution. The Propaganda Department will preside over and guide the organization of studying and implementing the Resolution; the Party Building Departments and the City Party Committee Office will inspect, urge and periodically report to the City Party Committee Standing Committee on the implementation of the Resolution.
